The Center for Community and Ethnic Media at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY hosted a forum with four of the candidates for New York City Public Advocate at the Newmark J-School on Thursday, February 7. Moderated by Errol Louis, political anchor at NY1 who also teaches urban reporting at the J-School, the forum included Melissa Mark-Viverito, Rafael Espinal, Michael Blake and Ydanis Rodriguez. The event was part of CCEM’s Newsmakers Series.

Journalists from New York’s diverse ethnic and community media attended and asked questions of the candidates.
