NYC Comptroller Scott M. Stringer spoke to journalists from the community and ethnic media on Oct. 15, 2015 at a Q&A organized by the Center for Community and Ethnic Media at the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism as part of its Newsmakers Series. Errol Louis (NY1), director of the Urban Reporting Concentration at the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism, was joined by Tequila Minsky (Caribbean Life), and David Cruz (Norwood News), on a panel that asked questions related to the comptroller’s office. The Q&A was attended by a large number of journalists representing different community and ethnic publications, who also asked questions related to the audits the comptroller’s office has completed, city’s pension funds, the different reports related to the performance of city agencies and minority-owned businesses’ share in city contracts.
